The Rogerstone nursery opened in 1989 to serve the needs of children from birth
to five in and around Newport. Situated in a large plot just off Tregwilym Road,
we are within easy reach of the M4 and the A467 to Risca.
Looking after 42 children might seem like quite a daunting task, but we have a team
of hard working and dedicated staff to ensure every child receives a high
level of care and an educational head start in life.
We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of childcare in the area which has
stemmed from Julie Samphire's 26 years in the teaching profession and an additional

years running Greenfields Nursery Schools.
As the nursery is a member of the Newport Early Years Partership we are able to
offer educational funding for children aged 3 and over based on Newport's criteria.
The Rogerstone nursery has five departments which include; younger babies, older
babies, younger toddlers, older toddlers and pre-school. With dedicated staff for
each of the departments we make sure that your child receives the very best care
as well as the best opportunity to learn through structured play. All the rooms
are bright and homely and are equipped to a very high standard for which we receive
many positive comments from parents, Newport Early Years Partership, CSSIW and ESTYN
inspectors.
